Although I respect people’s opinion, I believe that whoever thinks that MMA is inhumane comes from a lack of understanding in the sport. Much like when people say they do not like Lady Gaga, it is because they do not understand her ;D
I agree with you it is a sport where two individuals agree to fight under specific rules and measure. Plus like you also said the fighters have the option to opt out during the fight.
